Our Senior Activity Spotlight!
The spring play "Tooth and Tail" is set to be a swash-buckling, adventure-filled, fantastical journey of friendship. The spring play is open to all 6th-12th grade students.
Auditions for acting roles will take place next week: Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00AM in the BAND ROOM and Thursday, March 6th at 3:30PM on the STAGE. Please plan to attend both audition days (message Mrs. Brown, erika.brown@k12.sd.us for any conflicts or questions).
This is a large show that will require a couple tech crew members and has room for additional stage crew. If you have interest in being involved with making costumes or set, please contact Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Mac (kim.macziewski@k12.sd.us).
Performance dates for the spring play are set for April 25th and April 27th.

Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, there will be a Pep Rally to honor our State Wrestling Participants at 2:45 pm in the New Gym. This is open to the public and we encourage you to come out and cheer on the Blue Dragon Wrestlers.
The "C" Boys Basketball Game with Dell Rapids scheduled for Monday February 24, 2025 has been CANCELLED. The JV Game will begin at 6:00 pm followed by the Varsity Game.
Tuesday February 25, 2025, Region 3A Girls Basketball Quarter-Final Game...#5 Garretson at #4 Dell Rapids...7:00 pm. The Winner of this Game advances to the Region 3A Semi-finals where they will face #1 Flandreau at Flandreau Thursday February 27, 2025...7:00 pm. Region 3A Ticket Prices: Adults $6.00 & Students $4.00 (Grade 1-12). No Local or Big East Conference Passes Accepted, No Activity Tickets Accepted.
Congratulations to Danika Juhl, Brock Bonte and Blake Benson who qualified for the State Wrestling Tournament to be held in Rapid City, SD February 27, 28, & March 1. Good luck Danika, Brock and Blake.

With the 2-hour late start tomorrow, the MS and HS will start with Period 1 and 2 followed by Period 5 and a regular schedule after that. Stay warm, stay safe Blue Dragons!
The National Weather Service is predicting extreme cold in the morning (2/18). The Garretson School District will be starting two hours late on Tuesday, February 18th. There will be no morning practices.

The Garretson HS Band will perform at this year's South Dakota Bandmasters Conference February 15th. This concert will take place at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center in Brooking, SD beginning at 11:00 am.
